Village Pharmacy has a rich history dating back to 1880 when it first began serving the Baldwin, WI community as Christensen’s Pharmacy. Over the years, ownership transitioned through various individuals, with the pharmacy eventually becoming known as Rasmussen Village Pharmacy, Inc. under Lyle Rasmussen's ownership in 1971. In 2012, Dave Willink took over ownership, from Lyle's son, Dane, who owned the store for many years. leading to significant changes including a redesign of the original Baldwin location in 2013.

This renovation introduced new offerings such as durable medical equipment and a comfortable waiting area. Later expansions included opening a second pharmacy in Glenwood City in 2013, and another inside Nilssen's Foods in Ellsworth in 2019, providing essential pharmacy services to communities previously underserved.
